Easy Flow Drainage Solutions was started in Bridgwater by Martin Hale after years spent working on drainage problems at homes, rental properties and commercial premises around Somerset. Martin had seen how frustrating drainage work could become when customers were given vague explanations or were unsure why a problem kept returning. He wanted to build a smaller local service where the person attending the job would take time to understand what was happening and explain the work in ordinary language.
The business grew from that straightforward idea. Martin was later joined by drainage engineer Lewis Carter and customer coordinator Sophie Reed. The three-person team brings together practical site work, organised communication and local knowledge of the towns and rural communities they regularly travel through. Easy Flow remains a service-area business rather than a staffed shop or office, allowing the team to focus on getting to customers where drainage help is actually needed.
We look at drainage as a problem-solving trade. Sometimes the answer is a relatively simple blockage removal. Other times, repeated symptoms point to damaged pipework, displaced joints, root intrusion or another issue that needs investigation. We do not believe every drainage problem needs the biggest possible solution. Our approach is to gather enough information to make a sensible decision and explain what we find before recommending further work.
Being based around Bridgwater also means Somerset is not an afterthought for us. Our regular working area stretches towards Taunton, Weston-super-Mare, Burnham-on-Sea, Street, Glastonbury, Wells, Yeovil and the surrounding towns. From busy town properties to older cottages, business premises and homes on the edge of rural roads, we are used to drainage problems appearing in very different settings.
More about usWe concentrate on four core services so customers can get help at the stage they actually need it. Drain unblocking deals with immediate flow problems and backed-up drains. CCTV drain surveys help us investigate recurring or hidden faults inside the pipework. Drain repairs address damaged sections when investigation shows that physical work is needed. Our 24/7 emergency callout service is there for drainage situations that cannot reasonably be left until normal working hours. If you are unsure which service fits the problem, describe the symptoms rather than trying to diagnose it yourself. We can use that information to guide the next step.

Different areas bring different practical challenges. Town-centre properties can have older or altered drainage runs, coastal locations can see drainage problems made more noticeable during heavy weather, and rural or edge-of-town properties may have long private runs that are difficult to assess from the surface. We start with the symptoms at the property rather than making assumptions based on the postcode. To ask whether we cover your address, contact us with your location and the drainage problem you are seeing.
See all service areasClearing the immediate symptom matters, but repeated drainage problems often need more investigation. We look for signs that explain why the issue happened and whether another step is sensible.
Drainage terminology can become confusing quickly. We explain what we have found, what can be done and what may not be necessary in plain language.
Our working area is centred on Bridgwater and extends across many Somerset towns, helping us provide one consistent drainage service across the region.
Some drainage problems cannot wait. Our 24/7 emergency callout service is intended for situations such as serious backing up, overflowing drainage or problems affecting essential facilities.
Where the cause is not obvious, a CCTV drain survey can provide useful evidence before repair work is considered.
Drainage work can be disruptive enough without unnecessary mess. We aim to work carefully around homes, gardens, access routes and business premises.
Avoid repeatedly running water into the affected drain if it is already backing up. If several fixtures are affected or waste water is overflowing, contact a drainage service promptly so the problem can be assessed. Call 07546 935835 if the situation is urgent.
Yes. A drain that repeatedly blocks may need more than another basic clearance. Depending on the symptoms, a CCTV drain survey can help identify damage, deposits, roots, displaced joints or another underlying cause.
Yes. Our service area includes towns across Somerset and nearby parts of North Somerset, including Taunton, Weston-super-Mare, Burnham-on-Sea, Street, Glastonbury, Wells, Yeovil, Clevedon and Nailsea.
Yes. We provide a 24/7 emergency callout service for drainage problems that need prompt attention. When you call, explain what is overflowing or backing up and whether essential facilities are affected.
Not every blockage means the drain itself is damaged. We normally recommend repair work only when inspection or the pattern of the problem gives a clear reason to address the pipework.
